What a chair session is
A massage chair is ergonomically designed for positioning a person who will be receiving a massage, similar in function to a massage table. You sit facing the chair back, supported at the chest and face, so your back and shoulders are open to the work.
The bodywork is given on clothed clients using no oil. That is what makes a chair session practical in a workplace: there is nothing to change into and nothing to wipe off afterward, and you can go straight back to your desk when the time is up. Because the chair holds your weight, the person on it does not have to hold themselves up, which is the same job a table does on a lying-down session.

Bringing it to an office
Work-site chair massage is billed by the minute at $2 per minute. Because it is billed by the minute, a staff day can be built from short turns in the chair rather than one long block per person.
Turns follow one another through the day, one person at a time. A quiet corner, away from the phones, is the place to set the chair up, so each person can settle in without an audience. The space needs to be only big enough for the chair and a little room to get in and out of it, and the person in the chair can tell the therapist where to focus before the clock starts.

Chapter 03
On-site anywhere in Oakland, arranged by phone
On-site and off-site chair massage is arranged by phone. Tell the therapist where you would like the session to happen and who it is for, and ask whether that location works. Sessions are by appointment, Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 8 PM, and the hours are flexible within that window.
The initial consultation is free of charge. It is a short conversation about your space, the people who will sit in the chair and how long each turn should be, before anything is booked. If you are not sure what would suit your workplace, that is a perfectly good reason to call, and there is no obligation to book anything after the consultation.
If you would rather have a full hour on a table, deep tissue sessions are also available in Oakland, CA 94609. The two can sit side by side: chair turns for the staff on a given day, and a longer table session booked separately by anyone who wants one.
