Rejuvenate Your Body with Massage Therapy

Book the time. The session is shaped around what you walk in with.

No twelve-item treatment menu to decode. Choose a length, say what is bothering you, and the techniques follow from that.

  1. 30min

    One area, done properly

Shoulders and neck before a long workday, or a reset on a lunch break. Short is not rushed when the session is only asked to do one thing.

  2. 60min

    The full session

Time to warm the soft tissue first, then work where it is needed, and still finish the whole body so nothing feels left out.

  3. 90min

    Room to go slowly

Deep tissue work is slower strokes and more pressure, and slow takes time. Ninety minutes lets the depth arrive without forcing it.

A session, in order

From the first question to the walk back out.

The same three beats whether it is ninety minutes on the table or fifteen in a chair at your office.

Consultation

A conversation first, and it is free

Before the table, a few minutes about what is tight, what you do all day, anything recent, and how much pressure you like. The initial consultation is free of charge, so you can ask before you commit to anything.

Warm-up

Warm the soft tissue before going deeper

Lighter, longer strokes come first. Deeper muscle groups are worked only after the tissue is warmed up, because pressing hard on cold muscle is how a massage turns into an endurance test.

The work, then the finish

Slower strokes, more pressure, then the whole body again

Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, acupressure or sports techniques, chosen for what you came in with rather than read off a menu. Pressure is checked as the session goes. The last minutes bring everything back together, so you leave feeling well rounded, not just worked on.

On site and work site

The massage comes to you, in Oakland.

On-site and work-site massage is the core of this practice, not an add-on. Chair sessions use an ergonomically designed massage chair that does the job of a table, given clothed, and billed by the minute, so a whole team can rotate through a morning without anyone leaving the building.

“I specialize in providing on-site, and work site massage therapy.”

Flexible hours, Monday to Friday from 7 in the morning to 8 at night, by appointment.

Before you book

Questions people ask on the first call.

Anything not here, ask at (510) 229-0214. The consultation is free.

Yes. The initial consultation is free of charge. It is a short conversation about what is bothering you, how much pressure you like and how long a session makes sense, before you book anything.

Sessions run 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Thirty minutes suits one area or a lunch break; sixty is the usual full session; ninety gives deep tissue work time to go slowly. The price for each length is on the services page.

Yes. On-site and work-site massage is the core of the practice. Work-site chair massage uses an ergonomically designed massage chair, is given clothed, and is billed by the minute, so it fits a staff day of short sessions.

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, by appointment. Hours are flexible within that window, so call (510) 229-0214 and I will find a time.

It should not be a test of endurance. Deep tissue work uses slower strokes and more pressure after the soft tissue is warmed up, and simply using more pressure will not improve the results. Pressure is checked with you as the session goes.

No. Ear candling is a home remedy; it is not a medical procedure, and it should not be used as a substitute for medical diagnosis and treatment. If you have a serious ear disease, tubes in your ears, eardrum damage or an upper respiratory infection, consult a physician first.

Discount packages are available. Ask about them when you call to book.
